Denim + Chrome

My Denim + Chrome lookbook was my favorite piece to develop and create. I wanted to re-create a
fashion lookbook/coffee table book. I took inspiration from the current trend of denim and chrome
and used that as the theme of my lookbook. I wanted this project to represent all aspects of art that I
enjoy. First, I created clothing. I sewed patches of fabric and embroidered words onto some of the
clothing items. For photography, I asked a few of my friends to model for me. They modeled the
clothing I made in some photos and in others, they wore on theme clothing. For digital art, I went into
Photoshop and edited the photos in black and white. Then I created the pages; a few were inspired by
templates, and the rest were products of my experimentation. I wanted to create a larger-scale book for
class with the hope of recreating it as a coffee-table-sized book that I could keep in my apartment or
future home.
